Thank you to the 40,000+ of you who signed a petition to allow voters in Allegheny County to VOTE YES on reducing the Drink Tax from 10% to 0.5% this November.

Thanks to all of your hard work, we expect to hear from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court soon, placing this question on the ballot.

We are VOTING YES to reduce the drink tax because:

Hospitality workers who are working hard and raising families have jobs that are worth saving
Increasing taxes on small businesses—like restaurants—and customers during the time of an economic crisis is unfair and counter-productive
Raising taxes before eliminating the million dollars in waste and inefficiency in the Port Authority and other County agencies would be rewarding the politicians for their bad behavior
